The problem statement for this design required a free-standing pop-up information kiosk to be built for a specific piazza in Rome. It would serve as a focal point and create a pathway through the city as a series of structures. The design had to include seating, informational areas, a lock box, and take into account sustainable aspects. My project went off of the group concept "engaging the senses as a reflection of the past and an embrace of the future". I chose to focus on the sense of sound to create a unique structure memorializing the pine cone statue that once stood in Piazza della Pigna.
