EVER SKY
Banner Elk is located in the Highlands of NC. Being at the tallest altitude on the East Coast, the mountain ranges here allow people to stand amongst the clouds, where the sky is ever-changing. The concept is derived from this ephemeral experience, one that is to be recreated in the atmosphere at the Ever Sky continuous care living community.

The concept is embodied in the name and logo for the facility. ‘Ever Sky’ is simply a shortened version of ‘The ever-changing sky.’ The logo pulls from the color scheme of both the sky as well as star colors. The circular shape is a reference to an astrolabe, a tool once used for navigation by the stars. The smaller, connected circles signify a constellation, which guided explorers long ago.
